Meet Grace
Grace Menzies is the creative director of Banksiia Design Studio, bringing together formal training from Billy Blue with diverse experience as a visual artist, house painter, decorator, and venue manager. This multifaceted background—spanning visual arts, event coordination, live music venue management, and hands-on painting and decoration—has equipped her with both creative vision and practical knowledge of trade requirements, materials, and project management that proves invaluable during styling projects.
As a locally raised designer with lifelong exposure to house builds and design processes, Grace brings an insider's understanding of the tree change lifestyle that defines our community. Her ability to create spaces that facilitate meaningful human interaction, combined with her meticulous eye for detail and deep local knowledge, allows her to style homes that authentically capture what buyers seek—whether staging a heritage cottage for faster sale or styling a holiday rental to maximize bookings and create spaces guests can't wait to return to.
